How to get Puebla

The Hermanos Serdán Airport (Huejotzingo, Puebla) is 45 minutes away from the city. There is a daily flight from and to Houston operated by United Airlines.

If you arrive at the international airport in Mexico City, we highly suggest taking a bus to come to Puebla. The buses line is Estrella Roja. The ticket office in Terminal 1 is near the fast-food lounge on the first floor and in Terminal 2, is at the main entrance. When you go out of customs, ask a porter to take you to the ticket office of Estrella Roja; it is the most practical way not to get lost. Here you can find more information about the airport.

Buses depart to Puebla every 20-30 minutes. The Estrella Roja bus station in Puebla is Paseo Destino, (a different one from the central bus station in the City). Be sure to ask for Paseo Destino as your destination in Puebla when buying the ticket.

The distance between Mexico City and Puebla is 120km (75 miles). It represents about 2 hours from the airport to the bus station. The cost of the ticket is 310 Mexican pesos (approx. USD 15.50).
