ilustración: Valeria Contreras Santos Amelia Dionne Murillo amelia.dionne@iberopuebla.mx In this society where silence carefully hides, My words are mostly hesitant to come out. Unpopular thoughts and opinions that individuality guides, But those unspoken words that I can’t seem to shout. Opinions turned to secrets due to unknown consequences, Afraid for debates on what’s wrong and what’s right. If these get exposed, what are the expenses? There’s just rather concern for the upcoming sight. Overly scared to say the untold, What other people think concerns us too much. Millions of secrets have yet to unfold, And our opinion is left untouched. The unspoken stays hidden in silence, Waiting for a voice to rise in defiance.
